So two off seasons in a row for DO with injury,  thanks for sharing tower.  Obviously did not realize this was a lost offseason season as well.  Shaka was very emotional about it.  And he explained how everyone including the fans have been waiting for his break out.   Hope he stays healthy and shines the rest of the year.

If he is the real deal, the future is much brighter.

After contemplation, I think there is a paragraph from Shaka that may give insight into the early season Hamilton issue.  In regards to the coach/player dynamic

Play me and I'll show you versus show me and I will play you.

Adding that in to previous statements from Shaka goi g back to the summer, I believe Hamilton was the hardest worker in the offseason and was showing the coaches.  They played him.

Shaka has referenced that Josh is a better player in games than in practice.   

A story as old as time and not that complicated.
Show me in practice and I will play you.

Now, deep in the season, more minutes being given to those who produce in games.

News to me as well. I was chagrined after seeing his early season play. I thought he was a guy with as much potential as anyone. It's nice to see his improvement and development as the  (miserable) season has progressed. Can't wait to see how he does the next couple of years.

Only one injury.  The one he sustained in Labor day-ish 2024.  Then the injured toe in the third week of October 24.  He played through both in 24-25, had surgery to repair the abdominal/groin injury (never officially announced where/what) in April 2025. 

Then recovery.  Late start for summer conditioning and drills.

And I only know this through paying attention to information MU has released and what Shaka has said.
