I thought Owens did an especially nice job of cutting and making himself available.

He normally is, but I thought he was brutal on defense last night.  Consistently blown by off the dribble while he's trying to get into a guy 38 feet from the hoop, and fouling a 3 point shooter at a key moment.

He played all of 4 minutes before Chase fouled out. At that point, Stevens was also out.

NJ, Owens, Parham, & Ben on the floor. The options were Phillips for shooting, Norman for defense, or one of the bigs who had 2 minutes combined on the night. All I was saying is he typically plays good defense, certainly better than Phillips, and that's why he finished the game.

I agree.  I just meant that I thought Norman is normally a good defender, but last night he was not.  We don't have a lot of talent on the team, and when we get into foul trouble the options aren't great.
