320.  20 in the NFL.  All of MLB.  24 of the NBA.  90 + FBS schools.

Not here. #mubb fans celebrate 2 seeds with quick, unhappy NCAA tourney endings. It's the non-Warrior Way!

Marquette has advanced further than that quick, unhappy NCAA Tournament ending two years ago twice in most Scoopers' lives.  You're old enough to play pickleball, so it might be more in your lifetime.  But those were very good seasons for Marquette basketball.

You are wrong. Joy always arises when I read your posts. I found lots of joy in your undying support of Wojo, as I am finding joy in your undying support of Shaka. Spread the joy, I embrace it. I also find joy in your expert psychological analysis. I try to find joy in this season's journey. You should try to be objective. You might get joy from it.
I thought you were dead. Willie lives rent free in Reekers mind. Rick Pitino: "You can either complain or adapt."

Can't believe we're living in the land of F 452/1984/Animal Farm/Brave New World/Handmaid's Tale. When travel to Mars begins, expect Starship Troopers

You sound like Vecna, hating yourself and spewing it is harmful. I don't expect you to know who Vecna is and what he represents. Go flip some burgers

Quote from: MU82 on January 15, 2026, 12:14:08 PMWhat about this do you think the "majority of Scoopers" disagrees with?

I've read many posts stating they will no longer watch this team and that it's masochistic to do so.  These same people have also intimated time and time again that winning at this point is meaningless.  I vehemently disagree.  In my view it's more than fair to criticize Shaka, the players, the state of the program, etc.  I do so quite frequently.  What I object to is quitting as a fan of MU hoops and losing all hope for our future.

Either you are fan of MU hoops, our esteemed history, or you're a fking loser troll (Farley is a good example) as far as I'm concerned.  I believe we will bounce back and Shaka will pivot.  If he doesn't?  He should be immediately shown the door.  But regardless of who's out there, or coaching our program, I will always hope for greatness and getting back to the promised land.  And I say this completely admitting this is the worst MU team I have seen in my lifetime to this point in our season.

the Scoop unifier is we all want MU basketball to dominate. It's a season of embarrassment and everyone handles it their own way. I admit I can hardly watch this team. Rather, I'll take in the game with Homer & TSmith. At least with Smith, he gives a solid assessment, and can relate since he played 3 of his seasons for Dukiet. (Committed to Majerus but honored the commitment when Majerus was 'encouraged' to depart). I sit in my rec room listening to the games. My wife tells me I keep mumbling 'why' 'how' and 'what the helll' a lot. Is what it is, Muggs.

I get that Viper.  No honest person could have expected this dumpster 🔥.   But giving up isn't a solution.  And I still think that growth and development can happen the remainder of the season.  If we don't have major roster overhaul March-Nov it will be totally inexcusable.  For now I will hope and believe Shaka can turn things around.

Agree Mugs I have been going to most Marquette games for about 60 years since our Dad started taking us. I have not missed a Marquette home game in many many years until Seton Hall this year. And this will be the first year in many I will not be at the Marquette at DePaul game. But I plan on supporting the team and being at all the remaining home games.
