I understand how angry MU fans are right now.  Include me in that contingent.  As I've stated many times we need an immediate hard pivot and a slew of bona fide ballers that can change this disaster immediately.

All that said, I believe the rest of the year is important, and getting wins/experience is important. And I'm not gonna stop supporting or watching our guys because we're a terrible team.  I have little confidence we'll get to even 4-16 in the mediocre BEast, but we will see whether or not we have players grow and could be pieces in the future.

I am not angry, just totally surprised by how our coaching staff over estimated the abilities of their recruits. It makes you wonder if Pearson, Miletic, Egbuono, Nash and Johnston are high major D1 players. It makes you wonder in this new world of college sports if these guys were acquired at a discount.  For me the season can't end soon enough so we can see in which direction the program will take because right now very little is working.

Muggsy, I'm with you.  I'm in no ways happy with the current state of the program, but I'll be damned if I'm going to turn on the kids.  I'll be there supporting them till the end because they are my team.  Maybe this is a product of being a Bears fan, learning to stay loyal when your team just lets you down year over year.

I'm thinking all these people turning on the coach and wanting to jump ship and pout must be packer fans who grew up with only Favre and Rodgers as your QB's... there were many years before them where wins were hard to come by.  I guess you truly can't appreciate success without knowing failure.

Sheeeoooot.  I got hammered for not turning on the players under Wojo, I get hammered now.  Ain't no thang.

I root for the players who wear the MU uniform to succeed.   It is more fun when they do, but even when they don't, I enjoy the journey.

Between Lombardi and Holmgren it was pretty much a desert for Packers fans.
Regarding Marquette, pretty sure most true MU fans will turn on the TV to see the start of all MU games.  When they turn it off is probably a wide spectrum.

Normal people with lives wouldn't waste a second watching the trash MU is putting on the court this year.

Lord, an insult from a dipsh(i)t like Farley is the best dopamine hit.  Better than a stop by a bakery, better than a second Celcius.  Thanks, man.  My day got brighter knowing that somebody like you is annoyed.

I root for them unconditionally, as well. I'm trying, but not enjoying the season.

The team isn't good.  It is less fun.  But we are looking down at the snow and not up at it.  (OK, maybe some yoopers are looking up at it)  And, ultimately, every fanbase but one finishes the season disappointed.  Ours just came early and lingered like an extended cold snap.

The snow is a distinctive shade of yellow.

Don't eat it.

When we were all younger, dumber, and drank like fish, think of the drinking games we could have had with this team.

Y'all need to stop acting like this is the first bad team you have ever followed and quit taking it personally.

My favorite Lions jerseys were the personalized ones made after the 2008 season.  The ones where you put a/your name over a number.

Owen over the number 16.

Bingo on the bolded. Sorry, but I just couldn't' resist on the snow comment. It was just too easy.

I watch for individual performances, especially Nigel, when knowing in advance the game is almost certainly going to be in the L column. I also did this in the final tourney games near the ends, when Tyler and Oso were playing their last minutes in Marquette uniforms. Last year it was Kam and Stevie. In our massive W over Xavier, at least we took down Pitino Jr. ;D
