Isiah Whitlock Jr, aka Clay Davis in the Wire, passed away at 71.  In a show full of wild characters, phrases, and moments, I would argue Clay's "sheeeeeiiiittt" is the most enduring and transcendent pop culture tidbit from the show.  I probably say it monthly if not more. 

He was great in Veep, good in Your Honor, and did tons of work with Spike Lee.  But Clay Davis was an all time character.  RIP to a cult legend

Yeah, I threw this in the "what are you watching" thread. Shoulda done what you did with a new topic. Either way, his character was one of the many memorable parts of The Wire, and he was also fun in Veep.
