Can't hide your report card from your parents forever. This, much like watching the team right now, sucked to write.

If anything... This article was a little nice to Royce, Nigel, and Adrien.

I can't wait to see more minutes from Michael Phillips and Josh Clark

Can't disagree with any of those grades, I think they are about spot-on.

Sadly.
If you think for one second that I am comparing the USA to China you have bumped your hard.

Great article. My favorite quotes:

1. "This team needs a 5 in the worst way, and even a poor one would be an upgrade."

2. "People don't need self-flagellation after every loss, but simply verbalizing that the performance doesn't meet our standards makes a huge difference."

On point #2, I usually attend at least 10 games a year, home and road. I'm not going to another game until this happens. I've been so off put by pretty much everything about this season and how Shaka has acted and his in game decisions, so it likely won't be this year anyway. People mock those who think Shaka owes the fans anything and maybe he doesn't, but enjoy the empty Fiserv this year I guess.

Good article- but it's more than 11 games rest things havent been right in shakatown - the lack of introspection after the 2nd half of last year evidenced by running back THIS team was no bueno.

Joe McCann mentioned it on Scrambled Eggs, but the growth mindset that we need the most is from Shaka himself.

Stop blaming the players and lashing out at reporters when it's your roster building, player evaluation, player development, and tactics that got us here.

Zog from Margo

That's a very good article. Thanks for the analysis.

This article was the nice uplifting piece I needed after Giannis rumors and Parsons getting injured.

I never click on these articles posted on here but it was pleasant read. Thx

This is what has this entire fanbase so anxious. I get we're in the middle of the season, but he has shown zero signs he's will to do this.

Outstanding article.  And it really supports the perceived observation by many that this team really not only really isn't good at anything, but is actually really bad at a lot.

We are going to lose a lot the rest of the way.  I still see this as a 20-loss team, which would be a dramatic fall.  The biggest question for me isn't the development of the current players (outside a few, I think most are playing at a level outside their talent levels); it's how Shaka develops himself as if he will continue to get defensive and dismissive when asked why is the team so overmatched.

We haven't hit rock bottom on the season yet, despite attendance already trending downward.  If he keeps his responses the same with more blowouts coming, I genuinely worry what that does for support to the program beyond this season.

But that is the point, it is 1/3 of the way into the season and the roster is set in stone. We won't see anything in the way of changes  until March/April/May. It is what it is. In the meantime, need to focus on the games and growth/development. Moaning and groaning in the meantime is wasted effort and emotions on the part of us fans. I'm sure Shaka and his staff and the AD are processing this as well. They will be judged on their efforts.

Shaka is playing chess while we all think checkers. He is taking a page out of the Spurs playbook and tanking for a top pick. Just need to trust the process.  8-)
