Eh. Sure, it's nice to beat Wisconsin but the overall result of a season is much more important than a single rivalry game.

The record against one team means almost nothing.. what are u gonna do hire/fire a coach based on the Wisconsin record. What coach would rather have
Coach A: top 25 and tournament 5 straight years but 0-5 vs Bucky

Coach B: bubble team 5 straight years, make tournament 3 of 5 years but 4-1 vs Bucky ?

Embarrassing we came in as a Q4 game for them. Hope it doesn't hurt our chances scheduling high major home and homes in the near future. We're a potential resume killer. No one wants that.

I think Shaka wants to win every game. I don't think he puts anything extra into this game vs. a conference game. It's not like Shaka and Gard are recruiting against each other very often. And the ones they are are usually going out of state. Shaka's BIL isn't living rent free in his head like yours is.

you miss the point. Has nothing to do with anything other than ...beating your rival. Think Iowa-Iowa St. Healthy hate. Coaches aren't necessarily recruiting against each other. Different conferences. Same with MU/UW. It's simply...beat your rival. I mean, if you can't get jacked vs RED, who you get fired up for?
