Similar body types but not sure if it goes farther than that.

Better rebounder, more naturally physical than freshman Jop, better length and raw athleticism. Probably not as good a shooter or finisher. At the most basic, I'd say Jop came in as a more skilled player, Egbuonu comes in with more raw talent.

But will Egbuonu pass on a 3-on-1 fast break?

That's all I need to know.

David Joplin did not have a 7ft 4inch wingspan like Alex has. Alex shot 27% from 3 in one of his leagues - he needs to improve on that.

Sorry I was thinking Clark - my brain is toast today. Yes 6 10 1/2 for Alex

JakeBarnes

I think he plays above the rim more and is less afraid of contact than Jop.

Could be a really big mismatch guy, especially how he plays inside-out now. Not the quickest, but can be a bully like a Bryce Hopkins and looks like hes from a similar mold if the shooting can catch up (and the injuries stay away).

I really like the upside. Also love that he's built already--already has the frame (like Stevens does) and conditioning can go a long way for him

Assume what I say should be in teal if it doesn't pass the smell test for you.

Todd Townsend played at a prep school in NH though he hails from Chicago. Btw, Alex's home is in Nashua, NH which is 14 miles from his school in Groton, MA fwiw.

I wonder if he knew Holly Flax.
