Maybe I'm wrong, but have single game tix prices gone way up? Can't get in the door against Brent for less than 68 bucks. I'm OK with that for me, and my buddy who's an old school ACC/Maryland fan will be fine with that, but that's probably going to be too much for my aunt and my cousins kid who want to go too. Do they even make the color coded seating chart with prices anymore?

All the prices skyrocketed. Mini plans are up more than 110% in the last two years, and are 4 games instead of the old 5. There was a lot more inventory than past years when it got to the STH presale, so it'll be interesting to see how full Fiserv is this year.

We're going to the Providence game. I decided to take a chance and buy them through a third-party site before MU made single-game tix available.

I just checked and we got 4 in Sec 102 for less $$$ on TickPick than if I had waited and bought them now. So that's good at least.

We also are going to the game at DePaul a few days earlier. Sitting in lower bowl right at midcourt for what I thought was a decent price. We have 6 in our group, so I didn't want to wait too long to buy em.

Thanks everybody, especially Brew. May do some 3rd-party searching here in the coming days.

$80 per ticket: Row J, center court.  From DePaul ticket office.  Buy them from DePaul every year.  Best MU ticket deal around.  We'll be looking for you, '82!

Think most events just figured out a more efficient model. Double the ticket prices and you only need half the place full to make the same amount while saving on other game day operations costs (ie: less staff needed, etc). Also, think they realized the secondary market was making way too much profit and want more for themselves leading to higher face value prices. Probably a lot of factors to it, none of which are good for the fan or the game day atmosphere.

Got ours in Sec 124 Row N on TickPick. It'll be my first time in Wintrust, so curious to check it out. Seriously hope to see you there, LL. Let's touch base when the new year arrives.

Last year I planned to buy two mini plans and be content, then I realized it was actually more expensive to do that than to just get full season tickets.

I hope the concession prices haven't skyrocketed as well!

Had a similar thought. There were some spots where it was cheaper for season tix than single game options.

The friend and former occasional scoop user with whom I attend MU games at Butler scored a couple of tickets for the game on January 23.  Their ticket prices have also jumped.

I made that mistake, though I was able to get in lower bowl with the mini plan. Would have been upper with season tix, though I don't think those seats are bad at all. Did one mini and will pick and choose other games this year. Price definitely played a part, along with 3 games in Chicago.

Quote from: MUbiz on August 06, 2025, 11:52:14 AMAnecdotally, it seems to me that people are buying less seats and also seats higher up. There is still about half the section directly behind the MU bench open. I pick my seats Friday, so I feel pretty good about getting whatever seat I want.

I said the same when I picked my Season tickets out a while ago.

I believe there were 6 for sure if not 7 sellouts last year; NMD tickets last year did not even make it to the general public I believe - this year everything is wide open and nothing is sold out as of this morning.

Yes, MUBB is collecting a ton more per ticket, but it seems its at the expense of the crowd size and atmosphere.

I would love to see the recommendations the consulting agency communicated to MUBB re ticket prices.

Just got an email promoting $22 tickets available for all remaining home non-con games, including Maryland and Dayton, in honor of Jerel's number being retired.

The great thing is, it's a Fevo sale. So, you don't get hammered by Ticketmaster fees.

This will be my last year with season tickets. What's the point when I can just wait and get them for cheaper?

Never been a season seat holder, but between deals like this, other promos, secondary market...every big game I've wanted to go to has been so affordable with great seats. Totally get why you would feel this way.
VIOLENCE!

brewcity77

Screw Marquette and this sale. My miniplan seats for Dayton were $92 each and now I could get them for $22 each (4 for less than the price of 1) because of a sale that has nothing to do with the game I'm going to?

While also undercutting the value of secondary market tickets for all remaining non-con games?

They should've offered this to STH/miniplan holders only first. This is because Marquette completely failed to market single game tickets and didn't put them up for sale until 2 days before the season. And they told me "this is to honor Jerel" what a load of crap. This is because they were inept selling tickets, jacked prices up too high to retain their customer base, and are now basically screwing over loyal fans to make up for their own ineptitude.

I'm sure plenty of sycophants will try to defend this, but it's a slap in the face of STHs & miniplan holders.

We got rid of ours ~15 years ago for similar reasons after having them in the family for many decades. So, this isn't surprising to hear they'd do something like this. It's worked out well for me just going to individual games. Lots of times friends or family offload tickets and sometimes you bite the bullet and pay extra on the secondary market. Usually come out ahead in the end. With that said though, MUs schedule and team is a lot better now than it used to be so I get the appeal to have those tickets locked in.
