The NBC studio people are honestly horrible.  They add nothing to the broadcast.

Jamal Crawford is a good addition as an analyst.

This series has been truly bizarre.  One competitive game and it looks like we'll see a G7.

I'm starting to think the Knicks are going to win it.

I am not.

Well, the truth is both SA and OKC are banged up.  Williams isn't close to being healthy for OKC and Fox isn't right for SA.  Beyond that, the Knicks are significantly better and a more versatile offensive team.  They have 4 guys that can consistently score and from a variety of spots.  They also have a badass closer.

SA snd OKC are better defensively and rebounding the ball.  Robinson possibly being out could also be a prob, as well as rust in G1.  But unless Towns completely craps the bed, I think they have a major advantage with 4 guys that can drain buckets.

NBA passes anti-tanking measures for the Draft Lottery. Here's how teams will be affected by the new rules (as compared to the old rules):

"It's not how white men fight." - Tucker Carlson

"Guard against the impostures of pretended patriotism." - George Washington

"In a time of deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act." - George Orwell

Very dumb.

MuggsyB

The Knicks may have some rust for a lot of G1, but they have an enormous advantage having a week off and being healthy.  I think I'd rather play OKC if I was NY.  Jalen Williams isn't likely to going to play at all.  DeAaron Fox isn't healthy but could conceivably be effective.  Either way I think this idea that they will be substantial undedogs is silly.   They have multiple guys they can throw at Shai, and Towns can bring Wemby out of the paint.  My pick is Knicks in 6 vs either match-up.  I hope I'm wrong if they play SA.

That is a flagrant one foul in every single game played in the NBA this entire year until tonight. That's crazy.

5th foul for Wemby.  Fk.

Have I mentioned the 6ers waived Champagnie so that they could have Mac McClung wear a 6ers jersey for the dunk contest? Unbelievable.

Not to mention giving up on McCain. Getting a late first and a few seconds for him is crazy too.

Chet Holmgren was 3rd team All-NBA??!!!

4 pts.

Whoops.

Best team won.

Both conferences.

Eh. If Jalen Williams is healthy the Thunder are the best team in the NBA.

OKC will put together a package for Giannis.

And knowing Horst, it'll be Chet and a bunch of the Thunder's own picks. Should be great.

He can't do that.  Chet's value just dropped considerably.

TAMU, Knower of Ball

From 1980 to 2018, 11 different franchises won a national championship, with 8 franchises accounting for 36/39 of them.

From 2019 to 2026, 8 different franchises won a national championship.

The parity has been crazy the last 8 years. I think it's been a good thing.

Juan Anderson's Mixtape

Either Victor Wembanyana or Tyler Kolek will win their first ring.

Let the GOAT debate begin.

MuggsyB

Wemby is nowhere near his potential.  He's a good 3 years away from the start of his peak years.

Uh-Oh.
