I know I'd rather be watching ND lose by 50 in another national title game.

MuggsyB

That penalty gives Miami a shot.

After some of the non calls on Mendoza they call a 50/50 call to give Miami 15 yards and a first instead of 3rd and 12. Woof.

The most Carson Beck way to end a 17 year college career.

Congrats to Cig and IU. Way to use the transfer portal over HS recruiting to be successful.

you never know. He'll come out with a tonsillitis diagnosis from some point in his college career and sue for another year.

MuggsyB

Will the IU coach leave for the NFL?

Marco Rubio just stormed out and shot a manatee in the back of the head (it was probably asking for it)

This is a sociopathic comment.  Stop besmirching our tremendous manatee population or insinuating there should any violence against them.  Manatees are sea puppies but with added natural size and weight.  That's not a vice.  Respect their greatness and do some soul searching.

It really was. Miami had everything going, and he throws a completely unnecessary pass into double coverage.

The manatees are just unavoidable collateral damage for the passion of college football

I didn't see it that way, in his defense.

Presnap, IU showed single high. Beck failed to see the postsnap shift into 2 high.

He threw based on the single high.

Miami vs. Indiana the second most viewed CFP game. Just wish the instatransfers and more importantly the players getting paid didn't ruin college athletics.

So Arthur Smith is the new OC for OSU.  Columbus is becoming the rehab for failed NFL HCs.  Bill O'Brien (briefly), Chip Kelly, Matt Patricia, now Arthur Smith.

Arthur Smith is also very amusing to me because despite growing up as the child of immense wealth and privilege, he's one of the oldest looking people I've ever seen.  This man was 39 years old here, you could have easily placed this picture on an AARP card...

And then additionally, his whole appearance and aesthetic is this odd Mike McCarthy-esque blue collar "I grew up coaching football in a rust belt steel town" vibe.  The stache, the hair, his team apparel choices.  Just amusing from a son of a billionaire who went to HS/boarding school at Georgetown Prep with the kids of senators and diplomats.  Not like his dad had him at public school in Memphis driving FedEx trucks on weekends to humble him and keep him grounded in the business.

He seems like a grinder and wanted to really figure stuff out on his own from the beginning, but it still reads kind of funny.

Diego Pavia's height, according to Vanderbilt and New Mexico State: an even 6 feet. According to this week's Senior Bowl: 5-9 7/8. (From The Athletic)

Based on what we've seen from Diego Pavia, this appears extremely on brand.
