Sounds like Kyle Whittingham is going to Michigan.
Really solid coach, but not exactly a sexy hire. And he's 66 years old, which means they're going to be doing this again in five years or less.
But if it's a stopgap, let's reset the culture kind of move, it's probably a good move.

I don't care whether or not he's a sexy hire. I just want to know if he will be bringing a sexy girlfriend along with him to be there on the sidelines with him. That's expected today when a school hires an older coach.

He's only two years older than Cignetti.

And you are 100% correct this is a culture reset hire. He is what Michigan needs right now. A young coach like Fisch wasn't going to take the job when he didn't know who his AD would be, and Whittingham has a reputation as a stand-up coach without NCAA issues or out chasing co-eds and female coworkers.

But you never know what temptations may await him in the Big Ten. When I learned there were Gene Keady groupies back when he coached at Purdue, I knew anything was possible.

Despite a National Championship, some UofM alumni, and I assume administration are very embarrassed by the program. Seems like a good hire to reset the reputation.

You haven't met many UM alumni if you think they're embarrassed, have you?  ;D  ;D

The last thing UM needs right now is a sexy hire. They just sh!scanned a guy who thought he was the sexiest man in Michigan.

Most of the people who are Michigan fans did not attend.

LOL! True, 2 are cousins and 1 HS friend.  They are generally (very)proud of UofM.

Smart for Michigan to hire the guy for whom multiple women would not be problematic

Can Michigan compete for national championships without cheating?

Jockey

Can any team compete for a Natty without cheating? We know many schools will be spending well over the allowable limit. There are always loopholes (cheat codes). The big schools will find all of them.

So he's turning into someone worth $500M? Good for him!  :D

Very anecdotal, but my 24 yo just said he's pretty cool.

I love Snoop. I meant it in the sense that he is everywhere hawking everything.
