Thank You for asking our Son did alright. Bradley Beal Elite called off the press after many dunks and Our Son's Team only lost like 68 to 47. Which was not too bad considering the talent on Bradley Beal Elite.

lol it is not easy stopping Caleb Love. Duke could barely do it last year.

His shot selection did a good job stopping him

...and is planning on redshirting

I love this decision for Sheek, who as a redshirt will have the opportunity to get stronger and to learn a lot without facing the pressure to produce on the court as a freshman.

But how common is it for a top-50 player to plan on redshirting? I know Sam Hauser's younger brother joined MU for the second semester after graduating HS in December, but that was injury related, right?

Correct. I don't think its very common, but they put forward a plan for him that everyone bought into.

He needs work on developing his body and his game and  is redshirting to do so. Just speeding up the transition.

It's rare, but they probably just had to show him what Todd Smith did w/ Oso and it wasn't a hard sell

play for free in HS or get six figure rev share and other NIL while redshirting in college. I think this will become more common, especially since kids can take online classes and finish an entire semester in just a few weeks.

He is accentuating it.
Next year is not his "prime".
