Quote from: tower912 on September 09, 2025, 03:37:25 PMI like going to Chicago.  And Baltimore, DC, Detroit.  There is some sarcasm there, but not as much as you might think.

I got a number of funny looks when I told colleagues that I really liked the grittiness of Memphis.
If you think for one second that I am comparing the USA to China you have bumped your hard.

Quote from: mileskishnish72 on September 10, 2025, 08:02:38 AMWe always seem to go there in December.

Three years straight we've gone there in December. We've also hosted Creighton no later than January 3 each of the last four years. Strange coincidences.

All that's going to do is remind me that we don't have twin towers either. Thanks Shaka!

Actually, Clark, Gold, Hamilton.   With Sheek in reserve.

There will be complaints, I'm sure, but the sked looks good to me.

Easy choice for National Marquette Day - Sat 2/7.

Three Sat conference home dates, and one Sun.

I see a possible trip for me and family/friends: at DePaul 1/16; home Prov 1/19, at Butler 1/23.

Schedule coming out is just another step in getting me psyched for the season. We Are Marquette!

You know, I actually wonder if they did that on purpose so his former coach could be there. I bet TC will be there too.

Do Buzz and Jerel dislike each other?

@Butler and @DePaul on Friday is good. Should be a decent amount of MU fans making the trip for those. Myself included hopefully.

Sunday Jan 4 at UConn may be an expensive ticket for me.  Jan 13 @ MSG

Probably not, but I imagine Buzz would be booed if he were part of the ceremony.

I like the structure of the schedule. We can get off to a strong start with 4 winnable home games while the students are away and our three hardest games (at Creighton, at UConn, at SJU) are out of the way by game 7. After that trip to SJU we are set up for a potential winning streak and get the three toughest home games all in the back half of the season.

I don't like only 3 Saturdays and 1 Sunday, especially when the Bucks are on the road all the February weekends.

Agree. Re the weekends, welcome to the digital streaming world as the BE (like others) is maximizing its video revenue sources as opposed to convenience of fans in the stands.
