Marquette will be traveling to Purdue to lose on Saturday, December 13th according to Purdue Basketball

A loss is a strong possibility with their experience and home court advantage.  Similar to two years ago, if they play well, it will be a good sign.

ATL MU Warrior

This is 1000% a loss and probably in ugly fashion

I've already created my draft lamenting the lack of a transfer in that list us this game.

The Sultan

I'm already mad about the loss.  But I'm grateful I don't have a brother in law who attended Purdue.

Vander Blue Man Group

I'll assume we play at Wisconsin on the 6th.

If we lose that one as well it will be quite the meltdown here after the Purdue game.

CountryRoads

Win the buy games and win 2 of IU/UW/Purdue/Buzz and we're in a good position. Surprised that Purdue game is on a Saturday.

Billy Hoyle

That's a strong schedule for the Boilers. Two of their buy games are top level MAC programs

You'll give me 1,000-to-1 odds and a 20-point spread? Cool. How much do you want to bet?

I can't wait to see what 7'5 player they have for that game.

And they have two 6-11 guys.

I thought he was fired for the ultimate no-win game by scheduling a road game at Dayton.

Oh plllleeaaassseee!!!!!!

Give our guys a chance to grow.

Give Shaka a chance to coach.

Let's see where this takes us next fall.

In the meantime,  R-E-L-A-X!!!!

Win. Make up for the last time we were at Mackey where we had them dead to rights and let them escape.

Oh, I'm just being realistic.  Like I said, if they give Purdue a game it will be a very good sign.  Just like it was the last time they played them at Mackey.  I'll be there again rooting for them.  I am fully relaxed.  Nothing I can do but cheer them on.

Especially last years team. They really outperformed expectations.

The healthy MU team exceeded expectations.  The beat up hobbled version with Chase, Damarius, and Stevie needing surgery, Kam with a wrist injury on his shooting hand, and Ben with a broken finger and shin splints did not.

Wrongo. Hurley is outpacing Shaka right now, as is McDermott. Last years team was Shakas weakest since year 1. Dispute all you want, you are wrong, and know it. The New Mexico game proved so. I root for MU and want Shaka to continue to have success. But I also call them as I see them. It seems (as you say) that they are not meeting expectations.

lol Why're you bringing all this other stuff in? Did you say they'd be middle of the pack before the season? Yes. So your expectation for the season was met.

I personally expected a 6 seed and went on record with goose saying that, my expectation was not met. I don't know why you're trying to project this low expectation you had for the season onto me.

Shaka Shart

Good thing Shaka didn't go get an aircraft carrier in the portal with how they perform in the Red sea. Would be an auto loss in Madison this year.
