This is great news. Hopefully this will narrow the gap. Need to get a couplr more good ones. Dont know much about the guy, but  he should make the roster stronger. Congrats to Shaka. reel in a couple more.

Again, we got our number one identified target.

Who do we think is #2 on our list?

I still think Minnesale makes a ton of sense. I also think he's 100% MU if Shaka wants him.

If we get him, who is the last scholarship MUHS guy to play at MU? John Mueller came as a walk-on, but I think he ended up earning a scholarship.

...back, as in, we'll beat RED? Keep in mind, Gard always gets his man.

Better keep you out of Jordan's Big 10 pub at closing time, then.

I think you're a little mixed up.

A quick reference guide:

Gard = always gets it done

Wojo = always gets his man

Maybe Chase Ross is our 3 for next year...

Don't want to repeat myself, but I really don't think Riley is a good fit and it sounds like Paint Touches (somewhat) agrees: https://x.com/PaintTouches/status/2044773279550906515?s=20

I'd love Minessale in addition to an experienced guard that can handle the ball and create. Feels good to be know we have the center position locked up and the staff can focus on identifying the best fit.

It's been, what, 20 hours since we signed Fru? Where are the other transfers? Smart-Dukiet failing again!

Relax. Shaka is just yanking our chains.

Hmmm I want Riley but don't think a ball-knowing adviser would tell him to join MU.

If we can get Nigel below 30mpg and even supplement his minutes by playing off the ball a bit, it could really help him later next season. Marquette is hoping to be playing its best basketball in March, so having a guy who can carry some of the load would pay dividends. The problem is, this dude doesn't want to only play 15 minutes a night.

There are a ton of mouths to feed on this roster because Adrien, Damarius, MPIII, Alex Egbuonu, and Nash Walker are all expecting minutes in the back court or at the wing.

Hasn't played in over 2 years and can't shoot. Doubt we'd have interest at this time given the urgency to be good. Maybe if last season wasn't 12-20.

Furthermore, he was offered by Wojo.

If he is such a liability on defense why the interest, especially from Shaka who is defense oriented?
