Yep, its a rebuild when Stafford and Adams are done.  A bunch of their players contracts expire in 2026.  They're all in this year and then full reset.

The Athletic's Jon Greenberg does a pretty good job here summing up why the Bears would be dumb to choose Indiana and why this is all likely a bluff:

And here's where you should pay attention. This isn't about a domed stadium. It's about what surrounds it.

The days of surrounding a stadium with a moat of parking lots are over. Anyone who thinks this drawn-out process is just about a new stadium with a roof is way behind the economic times. And simply put, a mixed-use district in Hammond isn't going to work as well as one would in Arlington Heights.

The area around the proposed stadium in Hammond just isn't as promising as the 326-acre property in Arlington Heights. Forget about the scenery and even the environmental concerns in Indiana. The demographics don't make sense if we're following the money.

Hammond is part of Indiana's Lake County, population about a half-million. The aggregate population of all the counties that make up Northwest Indiana is under 900,000.

By comparison, Arlington Heights is part of suburban Cook County, which has a population of around 2.5 million. Throw in Illinois' mostly affluent Lake County, and that population bumps up to more than 3 million. There are more people and more people with money in the northwest suburbs of Illinois than in northwest Indiana.

I don't know what the big deal is. Both "New York Teams" play in Jersey and have for 3 decades. The teams and the players pay less in taxes playing in Jersey as well. There are also more people in the 5 boroughs, Long Island and Connecticut than live in Northern Jersey. I would also argue they also have more money and many of them still attend Jets and Giants games both of which have waiting lists for STH. Many of these season ticket holders date back to when the Giants played at Yankee Stadium and the Jets at Shea.

Rodgers is definitely pulling a Manti Te'o with this "marriage," right?  I just saw quotes from his MacAfee interview from  yesterday, but apparently there's no public record of a marriage?  And while I can respect him not posting pictures of her on social media or whatever, he claims he's being stalked by people trying to get a picture of her (which I don't doubt).  But they're married yet have never been out in public together?  And the stalkers have never even got a glimpse of her through a window or anything?  Is he only allowing her to remain in a fully interior room in their house?

That was definitely one way to get people to leave him alone and move on.

Raiders insist they won't move Crosby without a Micah-like return. I doubt they get that, but if it's a team that'll be picking late, like the Bears, I think the price is two firsts, or a first, other picks and a young player (Austin Booker?).

Was hoping the Bears could keep Moore but the realities of the cap made that nearly impossible. 

Getting a 2nd rounder is a nice get in addition to shedding the contract, and Moore gets sent to a win-now team with a future HoF'er at QB. 

Win-win trade, IMO.  Will be rooting for Moore and Buffalo this season, aside from when they face the Bears.

Also, Dalman's retirement was a tough blow.

It's not like the Bears are hurting at the WR spot either with Odunze and Burden, then you add Loveland and Kmet as tight ends, they are in good shape. That second rounded needs to be used on a O lineman.
