I really wish the Packers would have made a run at John Schneider for their president.  I think the time was right for an outsider.

Matt LaFleur is disliked by his players more than you guys dislike him, he and the Packers really took it on the chin in this year's rankings (although to their credit, they are addressing the weight room). No organization fell more overall in this year's ranking than Green Bay and LaFleur had the second lowest approval rating of the 32 head coaches.

Poor owners and coaches getting their feelings hurt is a travesty

Why would Schneider want to leave the Seahawks? Why would the Seahawks let him leave?

You have to at least give him a call. Make him say no

He's from Green Bay, used to work for the Packers, and at one point had an out in his contract for the job.

At least they didn't get an F last year in food/catering and somehow still got worse marks this year like the Bengals.  Especially since the Bengals made facility improvements that were well received.  Mike Brown is going to be a baffling skinflint weirdo until the day he dies.

Yeah I doubt he'd leave now after the Super Bowl win, but last year it would have been interesting

Thanks for the info.

Glad the Seahawks promoted him to president in 2024 when they said buh-bye to Carroll.

A- for the owners though which is us! Packers needs to follow Survivor and do a season "in the hands of the fans"

Lions trading David Montgomery to the Texans for a 4th, 7th and backup center.

GB Warrior

Bold strategy for Houston to continually trade their good (ish) OL and then replace them with bad (ish) ones.

Pretty good haul for Detroit even though Montgomery is a solid back.

I'm ok with Drew Dalman retiring. Chicago media is having a meltdown, but he was...alright?

It's not going to set back the franchise or anything, but unless you're breaking the bank for Tyler Linderbaum, you're probably not doing better this offseason.

Maybe, but you might find a better pass blocking center.

He was 8th in pass block win rate for centers and gave up only 1 sack.  Linderbaum would be an upgrade, and centers are replaceable.  But chances are the Bears will be worse at C next year than they were this past season.
