I don't really have an issue with Spartan football.

Really? That's somewhere between their basketball and gymnastics programs.

Pat Fitzgerald will clean that right up.

After throwing 10 interceptions and losing 4 fumbles in the first 10 games of the season, Sam Darnold had only 4 INTs and 2 lost fumbles over the final 10 games, all Seattle victories.

The turnaround coincided with teammate Ernest Jones strongly sticking up for his QB, publicly stating: "If you got anything to say, quite frankly, f— you."

Darnold, who infamously choked in the final regular-season game and playoff game for the Vikings last season, had zero turnovers this year in the final regular-season game and three playoff games.

Again, thanks Minnesota!

I would bet this month's paycheck that Walker has never set foot in an MSU classroom (or logged in for a class) in the five months he was there. I was asmused when a Detroit columnist congratulated Walker on being the first Wake Forest alumni to win the Super Bowl MVP and MSU fans melted down.

Less than 48 hours after Super Bowl LX, Campbell revealed to reporters that he played with a torn ligament in his knee during the season and was not 100% during the playoffs.

From Yahoo Sports:

It didn't quite set a record, but almost 125 million people tuned in to watch the Seattle Seahawks defeat the New England Patriots on Sunday in Super Bowl LX.

NBC announced on Tuesday night that this year's Super Bowl averaged 124.9 million viewers on their network, which made it the second-most-watched Super Bowl ever. That trails only last year's Super Bowl — when the Philadelphia Eagles beat the Kansas City Chiefs — which averaged 127.7 million viewers on Fox.

The halftime show caused a slight surge in viewership, too. NBC said Bad Bunny's performance at Levi's Stadium averaged 128.2 million viewers over the 15 minute window. That's down slightly from the more than 133 million that tuned in for Kendrick Lamar's halftime show at the Super Bowl last year in New Orleans.

By comparison, Turning Point USA's "All-American Halftime Show" drew about 6.1 million concurrent viewers on YouTube on Sunday, according to The Athletic. That alternative halftime show, which was pre-recorded, featured Kid Rock, Brantley Gilbert, Lee Brice and Gabby Barrett.

While the game didn't set a viewership record in total, the game did set an all-time record for its peak viewership. About 137.8 million viewers tuned in during the second quarter of the contest.

Telemundo also averaged 3.3 million viewers for its broadcast of the game in Spanish, which made it the most-watched Super Bowl in Spanish-language history. Telemundo's audience also peaked during Bad Bunny's halftime show with about 4.8 million viewers, which also set a Spanish-language viewership record.

No one seriously thought that TP's halftime show was going to do much. It's just another hook for grievances.

I had no incentive to watch nor any idea where to watch, but 6.1M ain't too bad.

Honestly I barely watch Bad Bunny, not my vibe or language, but the NFL has a plan to grow outside the US, so I'm sure it was successful as most NFL business decision are. The NFL does things for one reason..... $. I advertise in Spanish for my business for the same reason.

It was a joke and I don't know anyone, personally or via friend of a friend, that watched it, but if that number is accurate, that's surprisingly high.  Depressingly high if you want to be real with it.  Spite drives ratings apparently.

tower912

Add in that the thing was to watch it on as many platforms as possible at the same time to drive the numbers.   I have several jokes about that I will avoid, bit I think it likely 6.1 skews high.
