Walker has some game.

Diminutive nation has spoken.

The good news is that XP keeps this a 2 score game.

If Darnold played well this would have been more like 50-7.

MuggsyB

It's only a 3 score game.  That xp to cut it to 12 was critical.

I rather enjoyed the game.

I thought Witherspoon was MVP, as it would have been far more fitting if a member of the NFL's best defense had won the award, but I do get the choice of Walker.

Darnold wasn't "good," but he certainly wasn't bad. He passed for 200+ yards and played almost exactly the way his coaches wanted him to. He also had 5 TDs and 0 turnovers in three postseason games as his team outscored its opponents 101-46.

Rex Grossman and the corpse of Peyton Manning retain the record against defenses that were not historically great.

Sometimes diminutive people get the last laugh.  Walker is 5'7.   But I agree with you that several defensive players probably deserved the award.  It also was egregious that not a single defensive player was interviewed during the trophy presentation.

14 pressures allowed by Will Campbell tonight. Most allowed by any player this season.

Campbell declined to talk to the media postgame.
