Favre might need some cash for legal bills. I bet he can still sling it.

How many backup QBs has Seattle faced this year?

I'll let you look it up.

But to help you out, Caleb was under center over 50% of the time on Sunday.

Jockey

Last year - 84 under center vs. 575 shotgun in 2024.

51% Sunday vs. 15% last year. Pretty clear to me.

Jockey

Caleb has the 4th most passing yards in the NFL from under center this year.

Watching the final play again. It was kind of a bad play design, or Caleb rolled out too far.

Rolling out to the left, all the receivers were back across his body to the right. Meaning, he would have to stop plant, rotate and throw to possibly hit any of the receivers, which is a really hard pass to make.

Had Kmet just broke hard to the corner, their would have been an outlet, he was behind Caleb the entire play.

Also, DJ wasn't open until Caleb already threw the ball. Really not many options and almost seems like they were really hoping the QB run would be available.

That ain't what you said.

Your claim was earlier this season vs later this season.

Let's see the numbers

Maybe that's because most of Johnson's offense is run under center? Jfc

Not nearly enough, Mr. Obsessive. I hope the Seahawks play backup QBs every week from now through the Super Bowl.

It was VERY similar to the play action TD to Kmet against eagles at the end of last week's game.

Caleb ran and threw it beautifully that time.

This time, he had to make a split second decision on throwing to swift vs running it. He didn't like either option and then was late looking at Kmet. When he finally did throw, he didn't see underneath safety or should have thrown to the corner pylon.

Combo of slow read and bad throw.

Against eagles, he had less pressure on the rollout and no defenders near Kmet

If the Cowboys win out and the Eagles lose (to Buffalo)...

👀

Edit: Eagles would have to lose twice

A little harsh to charge Hurts with a fumble lost on that one interception sequence last night but still hilarious and deserving.

A QB having two TOs in one play feels like a typical Bears' QB stat.

Sportscenter said he was the first player to do it since 1978. Pretty damn funny. Would've been even more funny if it was in Philly to watch Philly Sports Fan TM melt down.

Even more, I think the Cowboys should be the favorite in all 4 games (Chargers may be a coin flip).  But Eagles getting the Commanders twice in 2 weeks is both weird and a very fortuitous scheduling quirk for their playoff hopes.

It looked and sounded like there were more Eagles fans than Chargers fans there last night, and they melted down very nicely.

Rivers workout with the Colts apparently went well.  Good lord we need this.  Flacco coming out of semi-retirement at 38 to sling it for the Browns a few years ago was fun.  But he'd been a backup and playing games the last few years up till that point.

A 44 year old Rivers, who would be 4 years older than his coach and older than 2 of the 3 Colts owners, throwing to Tyler Warren who was in HS when he retired?  It will be glorious, success or failure.

Quote from: Dish on December 08, 2025, 07:34:27 PMI'm actually surprised the Colts aren't bringing Tannenhill in for a visit.

I think this is isn't due to Rivers ending his career with the Colts and everything to do with Steichen being his QB coach/OC his last 4-5 years with the Chargers.  So outside of the absurdity of Rivers age vs Tannehill, it makes more sense who they look at when both haven't been in the league for a few years.

6 out of last 7 weeks facing a back up QB, including 4 rookies.  That's insane luck.

Week 9, Marcus Mariota: He filled in for the Commanders when start Jayden Daniels left the game with a dislocated elbow.

Week 10, Jacoby Brissett: He started for the Cardinals in place of injured Kyler Murray.

Week 12, Cam Ward: Seattle faced the Titans' No. 1 overall draft pick.

Week 13, Max Brosmer: The undrafted rookie threw four interceptions filling in for injured starter J.J. McCarthy

Week 14, Kirk Cousins: The 37-year-old in his 14th season started in place of injured starter Michael Penix.

Week 15, Riley Leonard: The rookie Notre Dame is expected to start after Daniel Jones suffered a season-ending Achilles injury on Sunday. Expected backup Anthony Richardson is also out for the season for Indy.

Obsessed.

That playoff win over your heroes way back when really effed you up, eh PW?

Not that you care, but Daniels got hurt late in the game with the Seahawks leading by 600 points. Quinn shouldn't have had him in the game.

Seattle is the NFL version of ND football.  Lost to anyone of quality, claim they will/would win the championship.

Like the Packers and Patriots and Rams and Broncos and everyone else who will have earned playoff berths, the Seahawks will get a chance to prove themselves in January and, if good enough, February. So we'll see!

You maybe need to see someone about your obsession, though. The Seahawks have staked permanent residence in your head.
