I did not see the Bears going into Philly and whipping the Eagles defense like that. Total ass kicking on the line of scrimmage.

Counterpoint, the Eagles offense has been lifeless for weeks. They're injured on the OL but Hurts has no juice. That should take nothing from the ass-kicking from the Bears OL

At the start of the season, PFF had Hurts ranked as a top 5 QB. Both lines have been considered premier.

Every week, I keep thinking that can't keep winning ... and every week, they just keep winning. Good on the Bears.

they should bench Caleb if they lose next week.

Would be a good learning experience for the young man. And buy some nail polish remover while we are at it!

It was fun that the Eagles not only fumbled while attempting a tush push but then completely succumbed the rest of the way.

After stealing the football on that play, the Bears totally dominated.

And BOO!! whined the fans. Love it.

I was on a flight to Asia so I was following the game tracker only, which is excruciating.  But I kept texting my friend watching like "is this looking as dominant in the trenches as it seems?" And he was as stunned as I was.  To completely dominate one of the top 3 teams in the NFC, on the road no less, while your QB isn't playing great is something else.

For a spotty defense that makes up for getting gashed with timely TOs all season, I don't think it's possible to be bigger than right after giving up your first TD of the game to cut it to a 1 pt game, Caleb throws a pick, Philly is marching to the lead/control of the game, and you get that fumble, regardless of circumstances.  Just massive.  Horseshoe up their ass or sneaky good or a combination of both, this is the most fun Bears season I can remember in over a decade plus. I'm beyond sold on Ben Johnson as a culture builder...this team believes and fights and figures out a way to win.  Roster development can still come later.

As if Philly fans didn't already have a justified terrible reputation...defending SB champs, 8-3 and leading the NFC, and you boo your team cause they have the audacity to lose a game.  What a bunch of clowns

Yeah. This whole story is strange.

I don't know, but I knew a college athlete who didn't know she had a torn ACL. High level athletes are wired differently.

Though I do wonder if Thursday's game played a role in that

It's been a fun NFL year in a lot of ways. Nobody looks dominant except maybe LA. Everyone has holes. In the AFC you have the Patriots, Colts, Broncos, and Jaguars all as good teams. In the NFC it's the usual suspects plus Chicago. But this is the first year in a long time that I don't feel like I have a good idea on how the playoffs will play out.

Quote from: Billy Hoyle on November 28, 2025, 04:44:12 PMMe too. Over 250 yards rushing against a strong Eagles D? They're legit.

Caleb is so inaccurate.  Imagine if they had a upper tier QB.

They'd be a SB contender.

The trajectory is good for a young QB, so maybe next year.
