Quote from: MU82 on November 02, 2025, 09:36:32 PMWell, every opponent can't be Super Bowl contenders like Cleveland and Carolina are.

Also, the Seahawks haven't found a mediocre opponent to tie yet.

Go Packers!

Packers are not good, I agree.   But Seattle has not anybody decent.

Daniels done for the year

Dish

I think both these statements can be true...

Daniels season ending injury was a freak play.

Daniels thin frame and his playing nature were always going to derail his career.

Not sure about always, but definitely more likely. But Lamar has largely been healthy and there were similar concerns about him.

Rough day for my dynasty league team with the Kraft and Daniels injuries.

You are not an objective person when it comes to Seattle sports teams, all of which you dislike.

The Packers are good. They're just not great, as it looked like they might be early in the season.

Lots of season left for both teams. Chill out!

The Seattle press spends too much time talking about Seattle teams and a lot of the local media thinks their teams are good.  Ugh

Lamar is built like Big Ben compared to Daniels.  He's slimmed down a bit, but early in his career when he was Daniels age, he was playing at 225-230.  Daniels is listed at 210, but that's generous.

Seattle is doing what they're supposed to, but I get not being overly impressed.  Beating a bad Cardinals team and a pretty toothless Texans team by a combined 9 points isn't gonna shoot you up any SB contender lists.  I don't rate the Jags at all, but when the Seahawks beat them, the Jags had just beat SF and the Chiefs back to back and that was a 1EST start on the road, so I'll give the Seahawks a bit of credit for that win.

You don't often see anyone getting a clean shot on Lamar, and he's quite a bit thicker than Daniels. Even in college, Daniels had a knack for getting blown up.

What is the best "ability" of any player?

MU82

Dan Quinn getting heat for still having Daniels in the game with 8 minutes to play and the team down by 31. Seattle had already given Darnold, Smith-Njigba, Williams and most of its other top players the rest of the night off.

Quinn can be kind of a meathead, but devils advocate...Daniels had just missed a game and a half and hadn't looked great so far, so he was trying to get him extra reps and play him back into rhythm and comfort.  But obviously hindsight is 20/20, especially with severe injuries.

Yeah, the Seahawks kind of blow. They'll be lucky to win 7 games this sesaon.

Nice that Matt wanted Tucker spending 60% of his time doing gimmicky run blocking stunts that expose him to just this type of sh!t

We need to see the Packers commit to the running game more than ever

Just in time for Bears in bear weather. That ball cannot and will not travel through the air in that game.

The Packers can't compete in Bears weather.  The Bears are undefeated historically in Bears weather.  Unfortunately, like real Bears, they've hibernated in the winter months the last 40 years

Like the paradox of an ex-OL player who as GM has no clue about OL importance?

barfolomew

Wacky box score on that Bears-Bengals game.

Bears had four players average over 6 yards per rush, as well as three players with a passer rating over 114.

My Giants should just forfeit the game against the Bears this Sunday. Hell, they should just forfeit the season.

Do you think a quarterback with painted nails is going to be able to deal with Bear weather?

No.  They need a Jim Miller-type.  A lunch-pail kind of guy who will drink a sixer of Old Style after the game
