Jordan Love flipped it to Rookie difficulty.

Jockey

Obviously we all expected this 2nd half.

CreightonWarrior

Jordon picked a fun night for one of the best games of his career.

The Sultan

Wasn't expecting that. Solid gut check half.

Over the course of the year, there will be 3 or 4 games when it is totally up to Love to win the game. Tonight was one and he definitely stood tall.

Packers are the only NFC north team with a winning record against Aaron Rodgers.

Nice win for Love and the Pack. Kraft was a hell of a find - best TE I've seen this season.

The Steelers aren't very good. Rodgers can only win so many games throwing 2-yard passes up and down the field.

And not that it mattered really, but how in the world could 8 officials miss that one offside call?

Rodgers looked like he did toward the end of his Packers' tenure. Gets skittish around pressure to the point where he's seeing ghosts at times. Also pre determines too many of his throws.

In other completely unsurprising news, talking to one of my buddies about how the Browns have absolutely no clue what they are doing.

Dillon Gabriel has show nothing.  Under 60% completion percentage despite under 5 YPA, has 2 TD in the last 3 weeks (1 of which was garbage time yesterday), and offers nothing with his legs.  Browns aren't playing for a playoff spot and Gabriel is 25 and not some young first round pick prospect like Maye/Williams/Dart, no sense in trying to bring him along slowly.  Why not try and see what he can do turned loose a bit?

Despite this, Stefanski comes out today and says he has no plans to try out Sanders.  Of course its not solely Gabriel's fault, but what the hell are you doing?  If Stefanski is getting fired, then what do you have to lose seeing if Sanders is more dynamic and you can win some games/show some proficiency with a young QB to audition for your next job.  If Haslem/Berry are bringing him back, then again, might as well see what Sanders can do so you can figure out if either of them have the stuff to be a starter next year or do you have to find a veteran to bring in for a year or two.  Again, no playoff race to worry about and protect, might as well be proactive.

But that's clearly asking too much for the Browns. Honestly, Andrew Berry still having a job is absolutely remarkable. From giving up on Baker, to the Watson trade, to whatever the hell this draft was.  Inherited a great young QB, 2 dynamic RBs, other weapons and a good OL.  Basically all the talent from that team is gone aside from Garrett, Denzel Ward, and Njoku and the OL suddenly turned into a bunch of chumps.  While its early and Judkins/Mason Graham look pretty good, there isn't a single promising young player on the roster from the 22/23/24 drafts.  Not only did they trade all the high picks for Watson, they whiffed on all the remaining picks too.

How else are you going to have a halftime wedding with Travis in uniform and Badbunny officiating?

Quote from: MU82 on October 28, 2025, 12:13:21 PMWho you got from the AFC, wades?

There is just as much of a chance of the Chiefs from the first half of last night and the first 3 games of the season showing up as there is the one from the second half.  And the former isn't making the AFC Championship game, much less the SB.

I think it makes sense to revisit this statement at Thanksgiving, cause the next 3 games literally define the season for the Chiefs. The Bills have looked fallible, but they are still are capable for nuking teams like they did on Sunday and maybe have figured things out in the bye week.  Then a bye, then they have the Broncos who look like Payton has his team playing like he wants for the first time since arriving in Denver.  Then the Colts who suddenly can't stop beating the hell out of times for the life of them.

I'm not sold on NE yet, cause that Buffalo win is the only one that wasn't against a middling team, and the Chargers are up and down.  But if you gave me the choice of the Chiefs and any combination of two of the Bills/Chargers/Broncos/Colts, I'm taking either pair vs the Chiefs.

Much of what JWags said.  If I had to choose one team?  The Chiefs are the team to trust the most just given their Playoff success with Mahomes and Reid.  But I'm certainly taking the field over the Chiefs.  The Chiefs could easily go 1-3 in their next 4 and be on the outside looking in to even make the Playoffs.

I still think the Bills are a better roster and there's nothing to suggest that what the Colts are doing is a fluke.

So yeah, since I'd take the field over just the Chiefs, it wouldn't surprise me to see someone other than the Chiefs in the SB out of the AFC.

MU82

You both make solid points. I certainly wouldn't bet on the Chiefs vs the field as I'm not much of a gambler ... but what wades said about the Chiefs being "the team to trust."

I'll definitely revisit this in a month, but as of today I'd be surprised if Mahomes & Co. aren't in the Super Bowl again.

Former Jets star Nick Mangold died at 41 from kidney disease. Watching and listening to Rex Ryan talk about him brought a few tears to my eyes.
