Very poor defensive half by Marquette, easily the worst of the year.

Very uncharacteristically allowing a ton of easy buckets at the rim.

Lucky Damarius hasn't missed otherwise they would be down 15+

That Gaudi ISU shooting percentage is more a factor of MUs poor and unorganized defense imo.

Pressing too much away from the hoop and getting easily beat off the dribble

Agreed Dr. V.  But they're a handful.  I thought the half the played vs Auburn was the best I've seen this season.  We must eliminate the chippies in the paint.

I'd say we should throw a zone at them but the few possessions of zone we played in 1st half were atrocious

Don't care who you play, if you give up that many easy buckets in the paint you won't win the game.

That's wojo defense, not Shaka defense.

Let's see if they can be better in the 2H

Ya....that didn't work out well.  It's not just the blow by dribble that's hurting us, we're getting pushed around a bit.
