Can still find new team issued shorts from the original jersey set on ebay.  Granted you are going to want to get XS or S if possible.

(Team issued is much higher quality.  Downside of team issued is no pockets.)

They sending them to everyone who was on the team during that era? just players that graduated? Participated multiple years? Curious if guys like Scott Christopherson or Erik Williams get one. Or if it's just like the 3 amigos and maybe lazar (and Jimmmy) who are probably most associated with those.

The 1969 number in circle jerseys for the Chones retirement and the Doc 1979 jersey at some point.  Those three were all on the wall in the pre-season photo day shoot.

My understanding is that the other jersey isn't a throwback but more of an alternate.
