And while wades had absolutely nothing to do with my comment, I agree with him that it's not just the predictions. We ALL get lots of predictions wrong. It's just the way you frame them and then defend them.

For example, saying Madison would be top 2 in the B18G wasn't outrageous in and of itself, but saying they'd be top 2 EASILY was just silly, because it obviously wouldn't happen easily if it were to happen at all. Your comment invited mocking, which led you to double and triple and quadruple down on it.

Not to mention your repeated proclamations (and doubling, tripling and quadrupling down) that Gard always gets it done. It's a dopey claim that is refuted by a simple look at his history at the school you claim to dislike.

I think I have mentioned Greg Gard maybe one time on this site.

According to the Bilas Index on ESPN Today Marquette is ranked #16

Losing three straight against UConn, St. John's and Creighton, two of those on the road, made the Golden Eagles look vulnerable. But this is the same Final Four threat of a team. Marquette forces turnovers, takes care of the ball on offense, but has not been shooting consistently. Because of size, this team can be vulnerable on the glass. Kam Jones continues to play at an All-America level, though, averaging 19 points and 6 assists.
