Dude is maybe the most obnoxiously overrated player in the BE since the bball only inception.
Perhaps somewhat overrated, but he certainly has helped keep Creighton in the limelight for several seasons now.

He was better pre-mono.   To my eyes, never was as good after.

Another week another update.

If I had to rank the rosters as is right now, here's what I come up with:

1. Creighton
2. UConn
3. Marquette
4. St. John's
5. Xavier
6. Providence
GAP
7. Butler
8. Villanova
9. Georgetown
10. DePaul
11. Seton Hall

But there's lots of offseason left. Some of the biggest questions left for this offseason:

1. Is Steven Ashworth using his COVID year? With no announcement by this point, I assume so but haven't seen it publically stated anywhere yet

reading BlueJayUnderground it sure seems like it's a done deal Ashworth is back.

So, Xavier is going to get an NCAA and an NIT bid, right?

SH picks up a project big that makes our project bigs look good. Only appeared in half of his high schools games last year, averaging just over 2 points. Unless it was injury related, that's not great.

The Hall has a solid tradition with these project Bigs.

Another update. Creighton finally gives public confirmation that both Kalky and Ashworth are back. Seton Hall fills two of their five open scholarships. X lands their seventh transfer. And of course MU fills their last open scholarship.

Remaining Open Schollies:
Villanova 3-4 (depending on whether Dixon returns)
Georgetown 3
Seton Hall 2-3 (their beat writer is claiming that Addae-Wusu is withdrawing from the portal but hasn't happened yet)
Xavier 1-2 (Everything I've read says Jerome Hunter is back...but there's been no public commitment from Hunter or Miller)
Creighton 1
Providence 1
St. John's 1
Butler 0-1 (depending on whether Telfort returns)
UConn 0-1 (depending on whether Karaban returns)
DePaul 0
Marquette 0

Wonder what the backstory is.  Neptune could be looking at another tough year.

From what I've seen.  His fans are generally done with him.  Which likely means the boosters are done with him.  Which likely means they won't offer the NIL $$ that they did last year.

Point taken.  "Nova fans" would have been more accurate.

Shugla deccomitting from Nova is the only significant update this week. If Dixon doesnt come back... I can't rule out a last place finish for Nova next season

Dylan Addae-Wusu is returning to Seton Hall. The Hall also got Emmanuel Okorafor from Louisville, a 6-9 PF who averaged a solid 2.4 ppg and 2.2 rpg in 7 mpg last year.

Is that...sarcasm?  Solid?  A guy who couldn't get more than 7 mpg on an 8-24, 3-17 Louisville team?

yes, it was sarcasm. I didn't realize Sheldon Cooper posted on Scoop.

But, if you wanted to do the old Seattle SuperSonics McIlvaine math and determine his value on how he'd do playing 40 minutes he'd have averaged over 13 and 12. I mean, that worked out well for the Sonics...
