That wasn’t the problem. Tower is right. It was the shooting.
it wasn’t THE problem, but certainly didn’t help. Surprised at that strategy, btw. And, bad shooting happens…similar to the Butler game at FF, but tonight was historically inept.

We missed shots.  But MU was rattle.   Again, getting the team rattled is on Shaka.

You keep going out of your way to blame the coach. But the reason was pretty obvious.

It is. But most are blinded to it because he’s a nice guy.

We were in a rhythm, cut it to 6, and jacked 3s and they weren't dropping tonight and it took us out of that rhythm.

I said it earlier, that when down six and Kam missed that three, huge momentum killer.  Would have changed the game, believe like 4 minutes to go.  Then next possession another miss three and NCST went on from there.

Uh. No. It’s pretty obvious that he’s a great coach. If you can’t see how the program has completely changed the last few years, that’s on you.

This game was on Joplin. He was awful on both ends. A total dud of a performance.

N.C. State is Providence level, but Marquette is playing Georgetown level.
That's exactly it. Most teams would've ended Marquette's season today the way they were playing. 3 for 26 from 3 and 14-23 from FTs isn't going to cut it. What an inopportune time for Marquette to have one of their worst shooting games.

Never much of a game. Sad way to end for Oso and Kolek and maybe Kam. Poor performance for the team. Appreciate having been able to watch them.

Sweet 16 in year 3 of a rebuild isn’t all bad.

Go UConn and Creighton.
Thanks. My UConn Huskies will need all the help they can get tomorrow. Illinois' offense is scary good.

Damn, I am sorry Marquette's season ended tonight. The poor shooting and uncharacteristically sloppy turnovers doomed them.

At least we played a crap team. Imagine playing like that against a decent team. Score could have been 95-45.
Wouldn’t have stung any worse

What do you mean rebuild? Shaka had it “rebuilt reloaded” in year one. Top 25 in year one. 2 seed year two and three? we’re still in rebuild phase?
Go UConn and Creighton.
