I thought you were a fan of the NY Post's college basketball coverage.

Still not convinced Providence is in. Especially with the A10 stealing a bid. We will see when Bracket Matrix updates, but more dominoes may have to fall for them.

(And Indiana State isn't going to make it IMO. They've racked up a lot of wins, but haven't beaten anyone of note. The only team they beat that will be in the tournament is Drake, but they also lost to them twice.)

A-10 isn't necessarily stealing a bid.  Before their tournament, they were a 2-bid league assumimg Richmond won the tourney.  Most brackets had them as the autobid with Dayton getting an at-large.  If Dayton won the tourney, then, it would have been a 1-bid league.  For like two hours yesterday, it was a 1-bid league.

As for Providence, I think they need tonight to few good.  My hunch is, they'll get some benefit of the doubt because of the Hopkins injury.  That win at Madison looms large, too.

Yeah Prov is right on the last 4 in/first 4 out right now. Could go either way.

Beat us and they are in.

Wouldn't any consideration surrounding Hopkins be a negative for their tourney chance/seed?  It's not like he's coming back.

Wonder if a new media deal will be announced shortly as well. It seems like they would go hand in hand right?

When I first heard that, I thought "I doubt those guys will sleep at all after that game!"

And then I remembered they're 18-22 year old guys and not an old dude like me.  :P :P :P

Looks like Breeding and O'Connell are reffing the St. John's-UCONN game, so we don't have to battle them again tonight

Whew!

I did see a tweet earlier that essentially said a new deal with Fox and CBS was expected.
