Like my son would say when his mom would want to watch royal weddings - we fought 2 wars so we wouldn’t have to give a crap about the Monarchy!

Made me think of Kipling's "The Man Who would be King"  considered one of, if not the best ,short story ever written. They didn't ruin the tale in the movie by the same name starring Sean Connery and Michael Caine

My favorite Kipling work is 'If'.
...if you can keep your head while all others are losing theirs and blaming it on you...
Luke 6:45   ...A good man produces goodness from the good in his heart; an evil man produces evil out of his store of evil.   Each man speaks from his heart's abundance...

It is better to be fearless and cheerful than cheerless and fearful.

Watching the Royals be, well, Royals, helps me better understand the legitimacy of our insurrection nearly 250 years ago.

Taxation without representation, my backside. We fought to ensure we didn't have to put up with those obnoxious royals intruding on our everyday life. You never knew how pedestrian these people could be until someone recorded the now current king wishing to be a tampon!

It was when they started taxing rum, and the materials needed to make rum that there was a real problem. Don't mess with a man's alcohol.

I have yet to hear a compelling reason for the continued existence of the British monarchy.

The only smart one is Harry for getting outta there.

Never have I encountered a scandal I simultaneously cared less about but desperately wanted to know more in regards to all the weird photoshopping crap.

1. How can an organization so powerful be so bad at this and 2. What exactly is the goal here? You do not get the benefit of a private life in this position. What is being hidden? Either way, highly amusing time waster on the john.

Speaking of Frank Drebin, they are rebooting The Naked Gun movies with Liam Neeson as Frank Drebin's son.

I think my favorite Princess Kate theory is she is on The Masked Singer and that's why she's disappeared from public.

Illinois governors have gone to prison for taking far less from the state than the Royals!
