Spent a fair amount of the 90s sneaking on to one of those dumps (Hillmoor) and also grabbing a case of beer and playing 54 as fast as we could at George Williams. LG summers were a hell of a good time, and I was a local.

Did they ever figure what to do with Hillmoor? Sucked it was just sitting there for years.

Absolutely heartbreaking. It was sold to a Chicago developer awhile back, and the last time I saw it, it was completely grown over. I heard at one point the city wanted to buy and develop it. Don’t know more than that.
