A lot of the role players deserve it. But I’d go Gold. Unbelievable activity.

Haven't looked at the box, but I made my mind up early. Stevie deserves this one..

He was the offensive force that opened it up early, and he made Carter's night miserable.

A perfect night for a STOG who is often overlooked.

Gotta go Stevie, but he and Ben were almost mirror images of what they brought to this game.  Ben's D continues to improve and his lateral quickness looks much better.  Stevie is a warrior, and him hitting a few 3's is huge for this team.

Stevie.

Tough call tonight.  So many great efforts.  Gold was terrific.  Kam was solid.  Tre Norman is really coming on lately which is great to see.  Kolek with a new signature moment hitting a three with blood running down his face.

Stevie set the tone with a great offensive game and his usual high energy D.

Set the tone early. Locked down Carter and scored some early buckets. Game was essentially over at 25-4.

Interesting choice, but given Stevie's activity on both ends of the court when Marquette took firm control of the game, he's the one.

I continue to be very impressed with Gold's improvement.

This is the Gold we've been waiting to see.

I see a huge parallel to Oso on the defensive end. Oso was awful as a freshman and even into his sophomore year. Then started playing really well near the end of sophomore year. Same with the foul situation. Ben is starting to foul less just as Oso did.

We tend to think more of player development at the offensive end, but we have seen growth by Ben (and the rest of the team) as well. Tonight was a clinic - especially in the 1st half when it mattered.

Stevie

Could give honorable mentions to almost everyone. Ben for his defense, Kolek for 12 points/6assists in only 18 minutes of play, Chase for three threes and his usual bear trap D, Norman for finally finding his confidence, Kam for being the leading scorer, Lucas for being a walk on who scored. Lots of love to go around.

Everyone was good, no one stood out over the balance of the team for the entire game.

I would go with Stevie, because he set the tone early and was the guy that keyed the run that gave us the big early lead that we never gave back.

Going into the season I thought Stevie was the key to success. My hope was he would get to 10+ points a game and become a dual threat. His offense has taken him to the next level over the past two months.

Excellent info. Thanks for posting.

In addition to being Defensive POY material, Stevie dominated offensively while we built our lead.

Loved what Gold contributed last night, but we were up 14-4 before he even got into the game - and Stevie had half our points even as he was shutting down Carter.

The more I think about it, the less close the "contest" is. Stevie by a mile.
