Might have broken the two hour marathon in his life

I think he very well could have.  I assumed they acknowledged this at the SB?  The guy was freaking incredible.  Very sad.

For the .5% of the people there who actually know who he is?

He ran a 2hr 35 sec marathon Fluffy.  Have some freaking respect.   There should have absolutely been a moment of silence for the young man.

You think they should have had a moment of silence for a Kenyan marathon runner at the Super Bowl? That's just weird.

Yes.   100%  We're talking about one of the most dominant athletes in the world.  The fact that he's Kenyan should be a strike against him?  WTF?

Carl Weathers would have been more likely.

Hardly anyone there knows who he is.

Count me in, but only if you agree to a 2 hour 35 second moment of silence on Scoop during a game.

He would have probably dominated for 15 years.  His greatness should be acknowledged.

4:36 Scoop Snoop.  That was his mile pace.  Extraordinary.

So you agree to my terms? Love it. One more condition-I get to choose the game. Saturday @UCONN.

All I know is that it's terribly sad and tragic.

Truly was inspiring. I've watched more videos on him in the past few months than any running videos in the rest of my life. Really caught me off guard and was looking forward to seeing him do the sub 2hr in April (as he claimed he would).

Admittedly a moment of silence at the Super Bowl doesn't make much sense.

Tragic. Genuinely thought we'd see a sub 2 hour in the coming year out of him.
Assume what I say should be in teal if it doesn't pass the smell test for you.

Terrible.  24 years old.  He probably would have gone sub 2hrs multiple times.

Agreed all the way around. I was shocked when I saw the news. He would have reset the idea of greatness as a runner.
