Unless you have a unicorn post player, guard play and the three point shot opens up the two in the modern game.  If you're 0-10 with a European-style guy playing the 5, you're going to lose. It isn't rocket science.  All this "its toughness" talk is looking for something that isn't there.

Same old story at half - make even a few shots and we’re up double digits.

I think we should blow out this team frankly and may in fact do just that in the 2H.

I think we’re watching different games.

A great job of using his body to shield the defender- Jop needs to take notes.

We’re close and we will take this in the second half

I’m feeling like last season, winning the BE and BE tourney, was fools gold. MU is playing like Shaka’s Texas teams.

Not a single jumper was made this half.

What the hell has happened to this team?

We can still be a really good team if we can start hitting shots again. Absolutely baffling how we went from drilling them in November to one of the worst 3pt shooting teams in the country lately.

People think shooting is the only issue? We’re minus 12 rebounding!  That’s horrible for a game, let alone a half.

And one Ft attempted.

Stevie has played well during these rough stretches we’ve had recently.

Correct but it's impacting other areas of the game. This team needs to mentally get it together Burrow.  They are clearly pressing on their open shots.  Do we have a team psychologist?

Muggs … MU will “ blow them out “
in 2d half ?  That’s hilarious.

This team is just bad.   Will finish
middle of BE …. And is looking like a
9 seed …

Lucky to be down 6 at half.  Ty Stevie for cutting the lead.   Need to score first in the second half.    I think we get the ball.

Drive and kick, drive and score.   Some 3 ball is going to go down for MU soon.  Early in second half please!  Go Marquette!

What would you do if you were in charge Hutch?  I'm stunned with our ineptitude.

Law of average is always a thing

At this point might as well hope the trash shooting continues for the rest of BE while still pulling out 7-8 more wins on 30% 3 shooting so we can make the dance

Then just black out and shoot 45% for 6 straight games when it matters as a 10 seed.

That happened last year too and we did fine - it’s all about shooting right now.

Who put this gang who can’t shoot or do much else together? For crying out loud. Take your blinders off.

Lol. They shot all of last year and the start of this year.

You're going to tell me that you if you were the coach you would have cut the whole team after going 29-7 and started over?

We have the guys. The guys need to make the shots.
VIOLENCE!
