Oso - passing was superb and 8/8 FT is really impressive.  He was good at everything tonight.

Kolek was very good of course but Oso really stood out.  ND tried different guys on him and had no answer.

Can’t be Jop, agreed to a bet with my son that if he scored 25, I would give him Travis Scott, Olivia Rodrigo, and Noah Kahan tickets free of charge for him and his friends. He LOVES Jop and gives me a bunch of crap because I am an outspoken non Jop fan. Too bad for the kid.

Oso

Kolekk
Oso

Hard game to get in a flow because of the early and constant subbing throughout the game.

Tyler Kolek
Honorable Mention
Oso Ighodaro
I agree with this assessment.
Watching up close, Tyler mainly was looking to get others involved, but when points were needed would just kinda shrug his shoulders and go get an easy basket. He made it look effortless.

Also, every time ND would score a few points against the subs and perhaps think they had something going, TKO would come in and immediately disabuse them of that notion.

Oso did his damage in the 1st half, when the game was put away.

I vote Oso.

This exactly. Oso did very well, but Tyler was tht ultimate adult in the room. Any time ND showed signs of acting up, he quickly put them in their place and got things back under control.

Come on, there was no threat at all of ND making any resemblance of a competitive game at any point last night to get “things back under control”.

Some here will just always vote Tyler no matter what anyone else does.

What kind of person disrespects the sanctimony of the star of the game and votes for the same player every time ?

Yeah its really strange thinking our best player could be the best player in every game.

I voted for Tyler because he was better than Oso last night, full stop. Oso was great at the line but Tyler was better on the glass, better on distribution, and better scoring from the field. He ran the game.

Other players played well. Tyler played the best.

Disagree, but thanks.  I’m closer to agreeing than your initial premise of his getting the game back under control. Tyler was excellent last night without question as I already stated.

Right, best player must mean he’s also the best each individual game.

Of course he could be the best any given night, especially when we win.

But you’re just arguing to be arguing which you’re famous for. I’ll remember never to encourage a little debate again in this thread.  Although I seldom comment in it.

Notre Dame went on a 10-2 run to cut the lead to 20. Tyler was the first one sent to the scorer's table. When he came back in with the starters, he immediately scored twice, grabbed a couple boards, and set up the Oso dunk. Before the stretch SOTG might've been in question, but that was the "don't even think about it" moment where Tyler showed why he is who he is.

As others have said, game was decided in the first half.  ND truly was incapable of making any run to put the outcome in doubt.

Too lazy to check but think something like that also happened in the first half where ND scored about 9 in a row and Kolek came in and made at least 4 FTs immediately.

Kolek and Oso were both studs but I’d give slight edge to Kolek last night. Fantastic game from both.

He’s great. No problem if rocky chooses TK.

But Oso was the main reason we were up 20+ to begin with. He was by far the dominant player on the floor on both ends when MU made the game a rout.
