So, do we route for UW to beat Arizona?

I will show them the way.  ;)

I think some of our fans' hatred gets in the way of rationality, even though who we hope will win or lose is meaningless. Come Selection Sunday, our record will obviously be judged in light of the successes or failures of our opponents. Let's hope that all of our opponents do well up to Selection Sunday. And then? Screw the Bastgers! I hope they get clobbered in the first round.

Wild horses couldn't drag me into either political party, but for very different reasons.

Hard to play a guy when he can't defend without fouling, 3 fouls in 6 mins AND zero rebounds
So you are saying he still had two left.

Well said, Goose. I do have a feeling that tomorrow night's game is weirdly important for early December.

Marquette's playing a real good team at home and needs to be sharp. An L would mean losses in 3 out of 4 games - not a great look for a team that wants a #1 seed.

I'm confident that Shaka will have the guys ready and that it will be one of our best games of the season.

I agree 82.  Win this game and every good vibe coming out of Oahu returns and the March toward the final four continues.  Lose and you start to question the teams big boy status.

I hope they win for Shaka’s sake as well.  Would be nice to pound them like Baylor last year in this game so Shaka can puff out his chest a little.  I’m sure he would take a one point win as well, of course.

Shooter and 82

It is crazy that this is MU's six game against a good-great opponent, and it is early December. After Maui I made myself remember that there are a lot of games left and not a ton of gimme wins. There likely is going to be up and downs the rest of the way. It seems like MU has only played big games for the past 25 games or so. Working hard to focus on the big picture vs. every game being the biggest game.

To be honest, I think that approach is a major step forward for the program IMO, top teams' year in and year out have to prioritize and not get caught up in the moment. I have more emotions after nine games than I had in some previous coach's entire tenure at MU.
