Knicks took a 18 year old who likely will not even be on the team this fall. He is a D league development swing by NY.

That's because Knicks are now loaded.

Brunson backed up by McBride
Bridges backed up by Divencenzo
Announby backed up by Hart
Randle backed up by Achuiwa
Robinson and if they sign Hartenstien.

Once Knicks traded for Bridges, figured Kolek not going there
Once Wizards traded up and got Carrington, figured Kolek not going there with their later pick.
Once Minnesota traded for Dillingham, the same with their later pick.
Phoenix traded back and many felt he was there, but they went with a longer, best defensive guard in draft, Ryan Dunn
Utah needed a PG with next pick and they went with the younger, past #1 high school recruit, Collier.

Kolek is older, not as quick, so-so defender.  I don't think he gets past San Antonio with pick #5 in second round.  Would be a good fit there, even with SA drafting a SG in Castle.  Kolek playing in spots with passes to Wemby, cool.  Many think he is first pick in second to Toronto, but teams can't lose out on Filowposki and Furphy.  Kolek lost some money by not going in first and some can speculate all they want with contracts, so we'll find out soon.  But for a player who started out at George Mason, then went from unheralded to All American, to get drafted is a proud thing for him and family.

Now Oso, who knows.  For a player that can't shot outside the paint, in an NBA that now relies on outside shooting, who knows where he goes.

Good luck to both at 4:00pm.

I love the idea of Kolek having Wemby to lob to

I do know, Newsie is right on you knowing ball.

I love the idea of Kolek going to the Knicks just so he can point out he went 7-0 against Villanova.

Marquette is once again a no show in the first round.

STFU, no way!  Next thing you're going to tell me is that a fairly high up member of MU's athletic department even responded to the account before!

In a Shaka interview a month or so back, that's who he alluded to would be a good fit for him.

They probably knew they could let him slip into the top quarter of the 2nd.   Get him cheaper.   All he had to do is get past the Celtics....So essentially your theory was/is FOS......

Just another NYG blow-hole.....Not unique.....

I won't believe this story unless Tucker Carlson has Tyler on his X Show to admit it

He can sign up for the Moscow Leninos while he is there for the gabfest. Worked out well for Britney.
