Learned not to pre-judge at camp with my cousin (wait; are you my cousin?) in second grade.  Guy was eating white bread, butter and sugar sandwiches.  I said gross.  Counselor said how do you know- try it.  I tried it and ate them for a couple of years after.  Yummy, even though the grit in the teeth was a little rough.  Also chewed sugar packets in those days.  Somehow still no cavities.

Sounds right up my alley. Butter and radishes is a culinary delight.

Growing up I would just take a hunk of bread and a healthy 😁 knife of butter. Mmm mmm mmm.

I LOVE mustard.

My doctor said to reduce butter but I’ll do my own research.

I even put butter on my PB&J.

On the jam side, of course.

When I was a kid we slapped butter on just about everything. Mustard was kind of a delicacy.

Some homemade bread, right out the oven with a quality butter. That , my friend, is worth the carbs.

Have done that.  Used to like just butter and peanut butter better.  Definitely did some white bread and butter sandwiches

Only time I put butter on a sandwich is if I am grilling it.

Butter almost on nothing.  Although, Paielli's Italian bread with butter was a favorite growing up.
Tomato, cheddar cheese on bread with mayo is one of my favorites during the summer with fresh garden tomatoes.
An open can of tuna with mustard on top is a quick lunch.  Yellow or Dijon mustard.

What is the world's greatest sauce/dip/condiment?  My vote is the Peruvian Aji Verde.  It has so much versatility and tremendous balance if you know how to execute the recipe.

Great mole is absolutely phenomenal.  Point well taken.   Especially the Pipian Verde.

Toss up between Arby's sauce, horsey sauce, and Arby's cheddar sauce.

White bread, butter, and bologna is a comfort food... but I haven't had one in years. :(

White bread toasted, duke's mayo, and a thick slice of tomato fresh from the garden is also great.

Add some coarse salt on top and its heavenly.  I prefer a different bread, but totally with you in theory.

If you're going to eat that, just add cucumber, red pepper, garlic, sherry vinegar and oliveoil, and make a good gazpach0.
