It’s stunning that after 7 years of Wojo’s absolutely awful coaching, after watching Sam ascend to the Celtics, watching Joey beat us in the NCAA, that people are still on Team Wojo. Must have taken Hot yoga alongside Woj.

The Hausers were 100 percent correct in everything that they did.

There's no "side" worth picking.

Wojo sucked as a coach AND the Hausers tried (and failed) to organize a mutiny.

It took Joey 4 years to finally have a season better than his freshman campaign at Marquette, and his 3-year stint at Michigan State corresponded with Izzo's worst 3-year run in a quarter-century. If folks want to call that "success," cool.

Sam played with Markus for 2 years before Joey showed up and there was no issue. For such unselfish, high IQ guys, kind of odd Sam couldn’t pick up on the issues playing with Markus earlier. Or playing for Wojo earlier.

Maybe the problem was the piece that wasn’t there for those first 2 years.

Seems rather obvious, does it not? Joey should have gone to MSU in the first place. Not protecting Wojo hereat all.

Wojo never knew when to say when with recruits. Karim, Nico, Quentin, Joey.  He needed to learn who was into him and who wasn’t.  A dog chasing his tail.

BTW, don't yall think that Wojo was asked about Joey before they signed him?  Seems pretty obvious that they would do that.

Lol at giving Bennett credit for Sam “ ascending “ with the Celtics……

In Sam’s final season at Virginia ……after sitting out a year to improve his game…….he was basically the same player as he was at MU……as far as team success…….Virginia was a 4 seed and lost to a 13 seed in the first round…….

Wojo didn’t get it done here…….but Sam and Joey were no better after they left……even though they played fir great coaches.

You forgot block%

This seems to be a new running Scoop meme but on draft night, shot blocking stats were mentioned for each forward's or center's summary as they were picked in round 1, except for OMax. O'Max's capsule sounded like a two guard's which may be where Dallas will try to slot him. He has freakish but raw ability but that seems to be where the scout's have him pegged (2 guard).

You’re omitting another piece that wasn’t there for those first two years - Markus’s 37.4% usage rate. It increased 40% from his freshman year and 21% from year 2. And Wojo viewed that as something to celebrate rather than be concerned about. So the situation that Joey walked into and that Sam endured in his third year was very different than the one Sam played in in year’s 1 and 2.

Truth.  End of the day, no skilled offensive basketball player wants to play with a "me first" PG who launches 27' step backs 7 seconds into the shot clock and a dip crap head coach.  Why any Scoopers want to take up for Wojo is weird.  I don't blame Markus, he simply followed Wojo's orders to "shoot more and Markus has the ultimate green light."  I don't blame the Hausers for wanting to try to encourage Wojo to figure out how to get that team to play team basketball.  Nor do I blame them for wanting to leave.  At all.

I think most players would love to play with Steph.

Hausers didn’t want to play with Markus. Well, once Joseph showed up, anyway. Didn’t want to play with Herro. There’s a common denominator here.

Joseph took one for the family and went to MU when he didn’t want to. Sam took one for the team and left MU to side with his family. Sam passed up on an extra year of NBA money. Joseph remained the same player for another 4 years. Neither had the spine to make their own decision.

And it resulted in Shaka here.

The Hausers are so selfless and smart basketball players that they knew to get as far away from Wojo as possible. One of those smart and selfless players is now choosing to play for Wojo. Hard to process that.

They went and killed Virginia and Michigan State.  Look at Michigan State, Joe finally graduates and they’re projected top-5 team without him.  Facts

Wojo killed the program. Never forget that. Shaka has resurrected it.
