The legendary Louisville coach passed away this morning.  Two-time national champ.

Some folks have said he wanted the MU job when Al retired. Fact or fiction, I don’t know.

I heard that too. Never confirmed, I believe, but rumored.

He stole Scooter and Rodney - otherwise it may have been 2 more championships for us.

Story is that Majerus did “bed check” without knocking on Rodney’s door. Inadvertently caught him in an embarrassing situation. That was that.

Buzz would have kept them

So would have Raymonds and Majerus. Unfortunately Rodney was a bit too embarrassed to matriculate here after the “incident”.

Huge mistake to promote Raymonds instead of hiring Crum
Winning is overrated. The only time it is really important is in surgery and war.

The Buzz era was simply an extension of the Al / Hank / Rick era.

Though it most resembled the Al era because we won.  A lot.
