Unbelievable game! How fun was that? I love this team so much... give Shaka all the boosters' money!

Another day and another test. And I'm not talking about a three credit class in this or that. I'm talking about determination and poise.

I'm getting texts from UConn people I haven't heard from in awhile.

Tonight was one for the ages. This team is all team special and I am fxxkin jacked up.

You guys both nailed it. That second half was the most tough -minded MU team I have seen in 10 years. Joplin scoring big. Chase Ross hitting HUGE shots. Sean Jones tireless on defense as a freshman on the big stage. This is a special team.

This team can play with anyone!  What a win.

This team can beat anyone.

Best hire by MU in 60 years. Great for Marquette and perfect spot for Shaka, aina?

Against all odds. Just the way Shaka prefers it. Just a bunch of dogs who never stop believing.

F it.  Let them worry.

Love this!

This is the attitude of the team, happy to see fans starting to feel this way too. It's been too long. So excited about this team/program. I have been saying 2 seed for  a while even though the numbers geeks disagree. I think this win gets us a 2.

I stand by my greatest hire ever. Times have changed and Shaka is the face of the University, in a time when it was needed. He will end being bigger off the court than on thd court.

Got to hand it to the players on the court when Oso, Tyler and Joplin were sitting.  They didn't buckle or budge.
Joplin was so over matched with Sanogo but kept hitting the 3s.  You might get two, but I will get three.

My cousin and I have a nice banter about our teams. Finally nice to be able to say something. She's a big Marquette fan for tourney until our inevitable rematch there
Assume what I say should be in teal if it doesn't pass the smell test for you.

A lot of slaps of five were being handed out.

This guy is a superstar. I hope we can keep him.

If MU brass has any sense at all, they would sell Joan of Arc and pay whatever it takes to lock Shaka up, hey?

I am enjoying the f ing hell out of this!  Haven't felt this way about mu hoops in a long time. Haven't posted much but still reading scoop.

Sensational performance overcoming a lot of adversity tonight.  First tournament championship appearance in 21 years. Now let's bring home first tourney title since Deane's team 4 in 4 days in '97.  We Are Marquette!!!

Well said.....Oso played 4 min in the 2nd half.

GoldenEagles03

Sorry if this was posted already but I'm just catching up on here.

How was Sanogo not kicked out?  He just sucker punched Kam and then the bench swarmed him.
