And it didn’t have to go very far.

The scheme is absolutely horrendous. If Steven Crowl beats you in the post then Steven Crowl beats you in the post. And it’s pretty easy to make adjustments when the double comes at the exact same time every single time (first dribble). Doesn’t take Ners to figure out the scheme there.

I used to think you were knowledgeable on the game, what happened to you? Defense does travel and continue to improve defensively.

Not adjusting is the key.   Why do we wait for “halftime adjustments?”   Make them sooner!  The first half killed us.

Marquette shot fine.  But I agree that the defensive adjustments were the issue.

Today was a big step back defensively. We made a horrible offensive team look like the KD version of the Golden State Warriors.

Defended Wojo for 7 years, thought h had the chops to turn us into “Duke North”.

Regularly criticizes Shaka’s recruiting and coaching.

Thought we had no chance at the tournament this year. Now thinks we have a chance only if Sean Jones is our best player (he’s not and won’t be this year at least).

I don’t think he really believes any of this nonsense - at least I hope so. But he was all in on our previous coach and he (Wade’s) is kinda stubborn once he goes on record.

Actually I was one of the few that thought we’d be a bubble team going into last season. But don’t let the facts get in the way of a good story!

Something most fans have been worried about is how MU is going to handle large post players.   We now know.  Aggressive double teams.  In the second half, without the evil Chucky doll with the big daggers, MU's rotation improved.  A couple of camera shots showed really great weak side rotation with the double.
Wiscy made 3's and did something really out of character by attacking the offensive boards.

The only thing to do now is learn and improve.

I hit the family lottery. I’m comfortable with who I am. And I’m pretty confident my parents are proud of the person they’ve raised. But none of that has anything to do with MUBB.

I was wondering about the doubles as well. Shaka said in the post game that statistically it makes more sense to throw doubles at big guys (don’t quote me on that). He added he thought the rotations were better in the 2nd half. If crowl is going to score 30 on turn around hooks, would have been fine by me.

I thought the doubles were great against Edey. I thought they were bad tonight (at least in the first half) because they all came at the exact same time (first dribble) from the exact same spot (strong side wing). It’s not hard to beat a defense when you know exactly what, when, and where the scheme is coming from.

I believe the judge was at the game today. Guessing he wasn’t thrilled!

One of the chores I actually don’t mind at all. Very, very easy chore and wins you some points. Plus, she’s got about 20x the clothes I do, so she can last much longer without the laundry getting done. And she works much harder/longer hours than me, so something easy for me to give a little back. What can I say, I outkicked my coverage. Thank god she wanted those governmental benefits we get by being married!

I love talking “ball” and excited about the program.

I've mentioned this before...Stick to that.

LOL what?

Lenny's is AWOL all day and logs on specifically to call on wades?  Respect is earned, not granted. And he's done very little to earn it.

?

AWOL all day? Played golf at 12:30 (Eastern). Finished just in time for the tip off. Went to dinner with my wife, two daughters and three granddaughters immediately after the game - they are here visiting. When I came home I logged in and joined the fun.

Cheap shot without knowing the facts. The Sultan know it all special.

I would like to believe you are better than that. I have friends in here that say good
things about you and will gladly bow out any thread if you explain reason behind it.

I'm the bad parent that grounds you. Not the one the one explains what you've done wrong, or how to be better (and I actually already did that).

Interesting feedback. I happen to know I'm one of the most honest people on the planet, and I don't share much, but don't think I change my persona here. Guess I need to work on it.

I think it was very straightforward by Rocky that is all. And don't believe those who say good things about me, I'm a very nasty guy...

May I suggest that you guys send each other some pm's where you actually state what upsets you.
