Oh no!  Here I just got done celebrating getting rid of someone with an inconsistent motor, and now we're adding a player with an inconsistent motor?  What is Shaka thinking?!

/saracsm.  Welcome to the program Al.

He'll be the only player on the floor with his full name on his jersey.

edit: I see CS has beaten me to this comment.

Welcome Al. You are the player we have been waiting for all these years. A Pogo Stick with Lots of Skills and high Basketball IQ. Doesn't get any better than that.

You forgot to tell us about his neck.

Excited about landing Al.  He seems to be an ascending talent with a high ceiling and a lot of potential to tap.  Pair him with Lowery who is also long and bouncy, you can see where the athleticism of our program is getting upgraded.

Coach Smart clearly values athleticism, and speed. Long, versatile forwards with quick feet.   Combo guards with size.  (except SJones)     Closer to the switchables mindset under buzz.    Look for lineups of two 6'9 forwards and three 6'3- 6'5 guards.  Pressuring 94, switching 1-5.

The bigs are going to have to fill out and develop enough to handle Big East maulers down low.  Without losing quickness.

I have previously.   The culture developing under Coach Smart clearly appeals to him.
