Great! But I want to borrow it for the TBT team.

And after quite a bit of thought (well, actually very little tbh), I have decided to offer Muggsy the HC position. One of the bench players can hoist him up on his shoulders so that he can address the team and also have a good view of what is happening on the court. This would be his opportunity to order the team to go full Medieval, attack attack attack, and either step on the opponents' throats or throttle them. Oh, also to eviscerate them. I like the word disembowel better, but I'm good with eviscerate.

Better watch out, or Muggs will usurp you.

I caught some of Davis Steel vs The Mecca on Thursday night. It was on without volume while we were out for dinner. Wasn't paying close enough attention to who the players were and there was no volume, but when they went to the Elam Ending, it definitely threw me for a second.

It was actually impressive, Davis Steel was down 69-64 with a target score of 71 and managed to score the last 7 points to pull off the comeback win, including a three to win that reminded me of Travis Diener. Though that 15-20 minutes I'm sure will be the only TBT I see all summer.

Sure. I'd watch a team with, say, Markus, Stevie, Lewis, Henry and Haanif, along with, say, Morsell, Kuath and Jop. And who knows ... maybe even a coupla OGs like Jamil and DJO would turn out. Oh, and for Ners, Magic Dawson.

But I'm not watching an event filled with random guys with zero MU connection.

Didn't that happened to MU's team vs the Ohio St team in championship? I vaguely recall Jerel turning over the ball like 3 times when the ending was set.

I always confuse the two. Youre correct with Dunn. Both were 2012 recruits.

Charles Matthews felt like more of a breaking point. Similar to Crean with Iman Shumpert.

Unrelated, this guy showed up to our Saturday morning pickup run a few months ago.  He was second in overall points scored in the 2023 TBT, and I think in one of the last couple years he was one of the leading scorers in the league Thon Maker plays in?  Absolutely insane the levels there are to basketball.  He was just hitting 30 foot setpback 3s against double teams like it was layup lines.

Haha nope.  He did definitely think he was just going to pick the white boy in the backcourt and then gave me a stanky eye when I pulled up from his own range early in the run, but there was no locking that dude up.

... Until you accepted the assignment and totally shut him down!

Hah, psych.  Thankfully was never tasked with the assignment.  It would've gone the same for me as everyone else in the gym.
