We're not losers.  My point is we had the talent on this team to make a deeper run.

I was thinking we helped Villanova. They learned how to handle the pressure against a team that was going to play a tough defense.

I also think one of the reasons MU dropped off at the end of the season was because Shaka backed off of pressing the other teams.

Congrats to Jay Wright and Villanova - best program in the country.  It's scandal free and just keeps on churning out the wins.  I'm envious and adulatory all at once.

But we did not. That is the responsibility of yeam and coach.
Glad we beat Nova twice but we caved down the stretch. We simply must get better talent. If St. Peter's can do it, then why settle for much less.

It's not interesting enough to start a thread about it.  That's just embarrassing.  It's something fans who root for consistent losers do.   I know lots of MU fans are from Chicago so I get that they're used to rooting for losers but it's just a bad look all around.  Even if not intended as such, it comes off as a loser's lament.

Perhaps. But given where they are they probably don't give it another thought. They are much more concerned about having to play in the FF without Justin Moore, a real shame.
