Not really. We had people saying he was treading water by hitting at least the bare minimum bars for success in years 3-6. (NCAA, just missed due to crappy RPI, NCAA top 10 ranking, would've been NCAA) the guy wasn't going to advance to the next level but nobody was saying they needed to judge but wanted to avoid a PR nightmare of firing a very well connected and respected individual after what unbiased people would call success.
