Greg kept us in it but Justin won it.  Lewis for SOTG.

If there was ever a time for a split.

Justin Lewis
Greg Elliott

Darryl don't think I didn't notice that defense.

If the Gods won't allow a split, I'll go Justin.

Both Justin and Greg with such balls though

Eye

Lewis. I'm not as torn on this one as some others seem to be.
GO WARRIORS!

Close one but that Greg steal on the Gillespie double team clinched it for me.

This isn't that hard guys. Lewis dropped the last 7 points and buried them with a dagger 3

Greg had 8 consecutive points for Marquette to make it 52-51 with 3:45 left.

It was the long rebound 3 off of Koleks baseline miss, the deflection and layup, and another transition 3 b2b2b.

Without that Justin wouldn't have showed the world what kind of a beast he is.

As you said, Justin w 7 consecutive to end it plus the dagger 3.
That's why I say a split here is definitely fair if it's allowable.

Btw does anyone still hate Justin taking 3s? Kid needs to do most of his work all over the court but he can shoot. His shot looks good and I want him taking it when he's open

Honestly, I still don't like it.  But if he makes the big ones, I'll allow it  ;)

DoctorV

Haha ok fine.
I think it looks pretty good out of his hand.
It's a repeatable, under control stroke and I feel like he doesn't really ever miss badly

Justin Lewis, clutch is as clutch does

TAMU, Knower of Ball

Greg was better but JLew hit the big shot. Lewis for the onions

I do know, Newsie is right on you knowing ball.

We can't win that game without Greg bringing us back ... but Justin had the stats AND came through with all the winning plays at the end.

Lots of other heroes tonight, too: Morsell, Kuath, Kolek. But impossible not to go with Lewis.

Has to be Lewis but Kuath was really, really, good.

He was so good defensively on the perimeter

Justin. I would've said Greg until that last shot. Massive onions and was huge all night long, from the opening three to the final three.

Kur was good everywhere on D. They were afraid to shoot when they saw #35 near them.

His best game of the season. We need more like that!

Lewis. 8-16, 21 and 7. Personal 7-0 run over the last 2 minutes. Don't think it's particularly close.

Elliott was great and we don't win without Morsell either.

94Warrior

SHAKA's Team Defense won the game.

JLew very good for 40 mins.
Greg great for 20 mins.

Field of 68 After Dark always has their cheers of the night at the end of the for the day's biggest star performance. In the past, it's always been three different people. Tonight, Carter Elliott, Randolph Childress, and John Fanta all picked Justin Lewis.

Kur Kuath is my choice.  He shut down the lane when he was in there.  Whenever he came out, Nova got aggressive and went to the basket with success.  He had them second guessing their shots all night while he was in the game.

Lewis took several ill-advised shots, but he was huge at winning time.

1.  Kuath
2.  Lewis
3.  Elliott

Nova was hesitant to attack with Mr. Kuath on the floor.  There's no question Kur was a significant presence and led our strong defensive effort.
