Teams that really protect the ball well give us trouble, not because we turn teams over, but because the Violence defense is designed to rattle them, shorten the shot clock, and get them to beat themselves.

The Big East has one team that really protects the ball well in Villanova and a couple that are good in DePaul and Seton Hall. I think we surprise and come out of this stretch 7-7.

The Big East has a lot of good coaches, who will know how to break the press. Also, while the press might get stronger as the season rolls along the teams facing are much better equipped to handled it. They are less likely to get rattled in game 10 then they would of been in game 1.

Can we get a sub category of how many games cancelled before February 9?

It is better to be fearless and cheerful than cheerless and fearful.

I guessed 2, but now that I've seen the recent NBA impact and NYC numbers I'll take the over on 2.
