Kur Kuath, the protector
« on: December 12, 2021, 01:09:58 AM »
Very easy to get lost in the shuffle of a brutal game, but I think Kur may be the best rim protector I’ve ever seen at MU.

I just feel very comfortable when he’s in the game. Kur is very good at getting his body in a good position and blocking shots without committing fouls. He also block to keep position and doesn’t lose his spot if it’s a non-block situation.
For a skinny interior defender he doesn’t get bullied and plays tough.

I wish he was around longer, and I hope osa learns as much as he can. I hope Kur gets as many minutes as he can tolerate this year. Osa has been great too and deserves additional minutes even when Kur deserves the max.

Disagree. Too  often Kur stands flat footed letting guys shoot "bunnies." He doesn't defend all the time.

I would put McIlvaine waaaay ahead of Kur.
